A straightforward temperature history

Record the journey.
Review at destination.

For shipments where a downloaded temperature record is sufficient, U2 provides a compact option without connected reporting.

01 / TEMPERATURE

Record around the logger.

A digital sensor measures from −30°C to +70°C. Placement determines what the readings represent, so plan it around your shipment.

02 / COMPACT FORMAT

Fit it into the shipment.

The slim 14 g logger is supplied in a food-grade plastic bag. A single key handles Start, Stop and Status functions.

03 / USB REPORTS

Keep the temperature record.

Download an encrypted PDF report and CSV data through USB. A validation certificate is stored in the device memory.

Reports at destination

From the shipment
to your records.

U2 records temperature for USB download. It does not provide live cloud readings, remote alerts or location tracking.

For available readings and configured alerts during transit, compare the V5B real-time logger.

Included reporting options

PDF report

A shipment temperature record to review and retain.

CSV data

Recorded readings for further review in a spreadsheet.

Validation certificate

Softcopy stored in the device memory.

Before you order

A few practical questions.

Can I see live readings during transit?

U2 records for USB download after the journey. It does not transmit live cloud readings or location information. Compare V5B if you need connected temperature monitoring.

How does U2 compare with M1E?

U2 records temperature at the logger in a compact format. M1E uses an external probe and includes a digital display. Both provide PDF and CSV reports through USB.

Can the recording interval or start delay be changed?

The standard logging interval is 10 minutes and the standard start delay is 30 minutes. Other settings are available on request, so confirm requirements with RTDL before ordering.

Can U2 be reused?

The U2 model on this page is specified as single-use. Discuss available alternatives with RTDL if you need reusable monitoring.

Can I use U2 for an export protocol?

Check the required tolerances, placement and validation process before selecting a logger. The supplied specification lists ±0.5°C accuracy from −20°C to +40°C and ±1°C outside that range. RTDL can help review the requirements.
