M1E.
Probe readings.
A clear record.
External probe temperature recording, with a digital display and USB reports.
The Frigga M1E is a single-use logger for shipments where a temperature history can be reviewed at destination. Position the probe to suit your monitoring plan, then download PDF and CSV reports through USB after the journey.

Measure at the probe.
Review at destination.
A practical option when you need an external temperature measurement point and a downloadable record, with a display on the logger itself.
Place the sensor where needed.
The external probe measures from −40°C to +80°C. Agree on placement and the measurement method before starting the shipment.
Check the logger on site.
A digital display, Start/Status and Stop keys, plus OK and Alarm indicators support use at dispatch and destination.
Keep a record of the journey.
Download an encrypted PDF report and CSV data through USB. A validation certificate is stored in the device memory.
The reading represents the probe position. Product core measurements require suitable placement and a validated method. Discuss any required export protocol tolerances with RTDL before choosing a model.
From the shipment
to your records.
M1E records temperature for review through USB. It does not provide live cloud readings, remote alerts or location tracking.
If you need connected reporting during transit, compare the V5Y dual temperature probe logger.
PDF report
A shipment temperature record to review and retain.
CSV data
Recorded readings for further review in a spreadsheet.
Validation certificate
Softcopy stored in the device memory.

*Confirm the recording settings before dispatch.
Up to 100 days is based on 10-minute recording. The standard start delay is 30 minutes. Confirm your required interval, start delay and journey duration with RTDL before ordering.
Place. Record. Download.
Confirm settings and probe placement.
Tell RTDL what you are moving, how long the journey takes and where the temperature must be measured.
Follow the start instructions.
Start the logger manually using the supplied instructions. Allow for the configured start delay and confirm its recording status.
Download at destination.
Follow the supplied stop and USB download instructions, then retain the PDF report and CSV data for your records.
A few practical questions.
Can I see live readings while the shipment is travelling?
M1E records for USB download after the journey. It does not transmit live cloud readings or location information. Compare V5Y if you need connected reporting with a probe.
How does M1E compare with V5Y?
M1E records external probe temperature with a digital display and USB reports. V5Y measures internal and external probe temperature, light and location, with connected cloud reporting when network coverage is available.
Can I use M1E for an export protocol?
Check the protocol's required tolerances and validation process before selecting a logger. The supplied M1E specification lists ±0.5°C accuracy from −20°C to +40°C and ±1°C outside that range. Discuss the requirements, probe placement and documentation with RTDL.
Can the recording interval or start delay be changed?
The standard logging interval is 10 minutes and the standard start delay is 30 minutes. Other settings are available on request, so confirm your requirements with RTDL before ordering.
Can M1E be reused?
The M1E model on this page is specified as single-use. If you need reusable monitoring, discuss the available options with RTDL.
